Vineyard
The Hacienda López de Haro Tempranillo by Bodega Classica presents itself with a brilliant ruby red in the glass and enraptures with its multi-layered bouquet. This combines the smoky spiciness of wood with the delicious fruit flavors of strawberries and raspberries and is accompanied by a hint of red liquorice.
This Rioja wine is dense on the palate with a pleasant acidity and ripe tannins, which give this Tempranillo a long finish.
Viniculture
This red wine consists of 100% hand-picked tempranillo grapes from old vines, which are between 50 and 70 years old and are located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
After fermentation, this Spanish red wine was aged for about 3 to 4 months in new barrels.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and vibrant with sweet cherry and blackberry aromas. Dry on the palate with wild raspberry and Christmas cake flavours, a touch of oak with a smooth, spicy finish. Honest with broad appeal.
Enjoy this dry red wine with strong tapas, Iberian ham, paella, red meat or with cheese.
