White Rioja DOCa 2019-Bodegas Muga
The Blanco from Bodegas Muga from the Spanish wine-growing region DOCa Rioja is a fresh, youthful and uncomplicated white wine cuvée, which is vinified from the grape varieties Viura, Malvasia Bianca and Garnacha Blanca.
In the glass this wine shines in a bright straw yellow with greenish shining reflexes. The nose reveals an intense and complex aroma with floral notes of white flowers, sun-ripened limes, lemons and toasted oak. On the palate, this Spanish white wine convinces with its wonderful freshness and good acidity structure. The silky texture is perfectly accentuated and is accompanied by juicy pear aromas.
Vinification of the Bodegas Muga Blanco
The vines for this white wine grow on soils rich in limestone and clay.
As soon as the grapes arrive in the Bodegas Muga cellar, the must is macerated in the press with the skins for 8 hours. Once the maceration is complete, the must is fermented in new French oak Nevers barrels. Finally, this wine remains on the yeast for 3 months (sur Lie maturation). The bâtonage is carried out twice a week.
Food recommendation for the Blanco from Bodegas Muga
